The Yayun Village section of Beiyuan Road, also known as “old Beiyuan Road”, is a connecting line connecting the North Fourth Ring Road to Huizhong Road. Beiyuan Road has suddenly shrunk from the main road of 8 lanes to a path for only one-way driving, it is a typical back street and alley around the Olympic Park.
Recently, Yayuncun subdistrict released the 1500-square-meter Xinrui market adjacent to the north section of Yayun village, Beiyuan Road. Xinrui market used to be a comprehensive commodity market selling hardware, daily necessities, non-staple food and clothing. Due to the large number of people and traffic, the narrow alleys were crowded.
“In order to provide a good living environment for the surrounding residents, on January this year, we communicated with Xinrui market property rights units and relieved the stalls in the way of market-side industrial upgrading, and it is expected that the transformation and upgrading will continue to provide convenient services for residents in May this year.” Yayuncun subdistrict the relevant person in charge said. Yesterday, the staff also dismantled a 300-square-meter illegal building in front of Xinrui market.
At the same time of market relief and transformation, Yayuncun subdistrict also carried out renovation work on the section of Asian Games Village, Beiyuan Road, such as greening landscape, standardizing shop plaques, floor painting, fence repair, etc. At present, 2200 square meters of greening have been upgraded.
